Site
kaspr.io
Category
B2B
Difficulty
Easy — a self-serve "Delete my data" portal with email-link confirmation, documented step by step in Kaspr's own help centre
Time to processwithin one month — the privacy policy says "If you make a request, we try to respond within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex"

What they publish

Business profiles sold through a LinkedIn Chrome extension and dashboard. The privacy policy's "Profile data" section lists "Name", "Contact information (including email, telephone number, social media profile URL)", "Employer/company", "Job title and information about skills", and "Approximate location of employer or workplace". Sources: "social networks such as LinkedIn, business directories such as Whois and GitHub and our data partners"

Owner / network: KASPR SAS, 8 rue Dunois, 75013 Paris, France (RCS Paris 843 898 396); the about page says "Kaspr is part of Cognism" and "We joined Cognism in 2022"

Removing yourself, step by step

0 of 5 done
  1. Go to https://kaspr.privacy.saymine.io/kaspr and select "Delete my data"
  2. Fill in the required fields, entering the specific information (email, phone) you want removed, and tick the authentication box
  3. Click Submit, then open the verification link in the email Kaspr sends and press "Confirm my email address"
  4. To object to processing rather than only delete, or if the portal fails, email privacy@kaspr.io stating you object under GDPR Art. 21 and request erasure under Art. 17 — the policy says "If you wish to exercise your rights, please write to us at: privacy@kaspr.io"
  5. Ask in the same email for the source of your data; the help article says "If you're curious about where we source our contact data, feel free to request this information"

How they confirm it

email — the help article says you "enter your contact details and type your email", "Check the authentication box", then "Check your email for a verification link" and "Press Confirm my email address"; the policy adds "We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity"

If they ignore you

GDPR complaint to the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/), which the policy itself names for France; the ICO (https://ico.org.uk/concerns) for UK residents. Not a California registrant, so no CPPA route

Data brokers re-list. Check again in about 60 days.

Re-listing risk for this site: Medium — the policy says profiles are kept "5 years from the initial collection" and that after deletion "unless you have previously objected, your information may only be collected again in our database at the express request of a user relating to your professional profile"; the help article says existing users "will be notified of your opt-out request and will be asked to remove your email addresses and phone numbers if they have saved them", which is a request to customers, not a guarantee
