How this actually works

No black box. Here is what the free kit does today, the law each request cites, and how the paid tier will work once it opens.

The removal kit

Step 1

Find the sites that list you

Our registry covers 681 data broker and people-search sites. Each has a guide with its own opt-out route.

Step 2

Build the requests in your browser

The free kit writes a legally grounded deletion or opt-out letter for each site. Your details never leave your device.

Step 3

Send them from your own mailbox

You send each request yourself, so you stay the sender and we are never your agent.

Step 4

Track what you sent

An optional free account keeps a checklist: which sites you contacted, when, and what came back.

How the paid tier will work

Day 0

You would give us your details and sign an authorization

Brokers match on name, past addresses, phones and emails, and many reject a third-party request without a signed authorization.

Day 1–7

First scan and first filings

We would check every covered site for a matching record and file a request against each match.

Day 7–45

The statutory window

Most state laws give brokers 45 days. We would track each deadline and follow up when it passes.

Day 45+

Verification

Where the broker publishes a public page, we would re-load the exact URL. Gone means verified; still there means escalated.

Every 30 days

Re-check and re-file

Data comes back. Each cycle would re-check verified removals and re-file anything that reappeared.

Legal basis

The laws the letters cite

CCPA / CPRA
California residents

Deletion under Civ. Code §1798.105 and opt-out of sale or sharing. 45 days, extendable once.

State privacy acts
CO, CT, VA, UT, TX and others

Equivalent deletion and opt-out rights, 45 days, with a right to appeal a refusal.

Site opt-out forms
Everywhere else

Where no statute applies, the guide points you to the broker's own opt-out, which is slower and easier for them to ignore.

Proof

What will count as verified

In the paid tier, a removal will count as verified only when a job re-loads the exact profile URL we filed against and the record is absent. We will store the response, a screenshot, and a SHA-256 of both, with a capture time. Sites with no public page can never reach verified — they will stay at request submitted, and we will say so.
