Who we are
OptStub is a data removal service, in two halves. Today: free opt-out links and legal requests you send yourself, and a free account that tracks them. Planned: a paid tier where we file the requests, re-check the live pages, and publish what happens — including the parts that don't work.
What we don't do
Not now and not previously, under any name or subsidiary. The most notorious scandal in this category was a privacy company whose founder ran the sites it claimed to fight.
We don't hold your details: the kit runs in your browser, and an account keeps only your email, site names and dates. None of it is used for marketing or shared.
When the paid tier captures broker pages as evidence, third-party details will be redacted before storage. We won't become the thing we file against.
No guarantees, no security promises, no coverage number that isn't the live registry count with a date on it.
Plainly stated
One person, self-funded, no outside investors and no customers yet. That last part matters when you read anything else on this site: there are no results to report because the service has not run for anyone. When that changes, the numbers go on the proof page whether they are flattering or not.
