How to remove yourself from First Orion

Site
firstorion.com
Category

Difficulty
Easy — a web form plus a published privacy email and phone line (1-877-640-4220); the form page could not be read, so its fields and any CAPTCHA are unconfirmed
Time to processnot published on the policy pages ; the CA CPPA 2026 registry row reports a mean and median of 1 day to respond substantively to deletion requests in 2024

What they publish

phone-number intelligence used for caller ID and call labeling ("Scam Likely", "Telemarketer") delivered through carrier partners; per its privacy policy it analyzes information from carriers about the calls a subscriber receives and the actions taken (blocking, reporting), and collects name, address and phone number of businesses from carriers, data brokers and government records. The state privacy policy says you may opt out of the sale of personal information "from our Call Knowledge services at privacy.firstorion.com"

Owner / network: First Orion Corp., 520 Main Street, Suite 400, North Little Rock, AR 72114 (privacy policy and CA CPPA registry 2025/2026); privacy and opt-out pages are on the subdomain privacy.firstorion.com

Removing yourself, step by step

0 of 5 done
  1. Open https://privacy.firstorion.com/opt-out/step-one/ (also linked as "Do Not Sell My Info" in the firstorion.com footer) and follow the steps to opt your phone number out of sale/sharing.
  2. To delete rather than only opt out, email privacy@firstorion.com stating you request deletion of all personal information about you, including data tied to your phone number; the state privacy policy names this address for all rights requests.
  3. Be ready to answer First Orion's identity-verification step; the policy says an unverified request will not be fulfilled.
  4. If your carrier's call-protection app is powered by First Orion, also review that app's settings; the policy says requests where First Orion acts as a service provider "can only be acted on by the business", meaning the carrier.
  5. If the decision is a denial, use the right to appeal the policy describes, by the same email.

How they confirm it

the state privacy policy says First Orion "must verify that you are the one about whom it has collected personal information" before fulfilling know, correct or delete requests; what the opt-out form asks for is not known, since the page could not be read

If they ignore you

California residents: CPPA / CA Attorney General under the CCPA (CA-registered data broker); other residents: their state attorney general under the state privacy law the policy lists, or the Arkansas Attorney General (company is in Arkansas)

Data brokers re-list. Check again in about 60 days.

Re-listing risk for this site: Medium — call data keeps arriving from carrier partners, so a number may be re-profiled after an opt-out; the policy does not describe suppression
