How to remove yourself from brokercheck.finra.org
Official regulatory record for registered brokers and investment advisers — employment history, licenses/exams, and disclosure events (customer complaints, regulatory actions, terminations, bankruptcies).
Owner / network: FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) — the official U.S. securities-industry self-regulator, not a commercial data broker
Removing yourself, step by step
- 01
This is not opt-out-able through a form; do not attempt a generic CCPA/GDPR removal request.
- 02
Retain a securities-industry attorney to evaluate eligibility for expungement of a specific disclosure under FINRA Rule 2080.
- 03
File and win a FINRA arbitration (or obtain a court order) directing expungement; FINRA then updates BrokerCheck.
Data brokers re-list. Check again in 30–60 days.
Re-listing risk for this site: N/A — record persists until formally expunged
