Removing yourself, step by step
- 01
If your name/personal info appears in a complaint or review you or someone else submitted, locate the specific Business Profile page and use its "contact the publishing BBB" link.
- 02
Alternatively, email the address listed in the BBB Privacy Policy (bbb.org/privacy-policy) requesting access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
- 03
For EU/UK residents, BBB National Programs' Global Privacy Division complaint portal (bbbprograms.org/programs/all-programs/GlobalPrivacyDivision/gpd-complaints-portal) is an additional formal channel.
Data brokers re-list. Check again in 30–60 days.
Re-listing risk for this site: Low for personal data removal from a complaint (once redacted, it stays redacted), but business profiles persist as long as the business itself is tracked
