How to remove yourself from Whitepages

Sitewhitepages.com
Categorypeople-search
DifficultyMedium (phone-call verification is the hard part)
Time to processOfficially up to 72h; often within 1 hour of phone verification
URL checked2026-08-14

Name, age range, current/past addresses, landline + mobile numbers, relatives, and (Premium tier) background data: criminal records, property records, financial indicators

Owner / network: Whitepages, Inc.; also powers 411.com — the same suppression request removes the 411.com listing

Removing yourself, step by step

  1. 01

Search yourself on whitepages.com and open your listing.

  2. 02

Copy the full profile URL from the address bar.

  3. 03

Go to whitepages.com/suppression-requests and paste the URL.

  4. 04

Pick a removal reason from the dropdown.

  5. 05

Enter a phone number where you can receive the automated verification call.

  6. 06

Answer the robocall and enter/confirm the verification code.

  7. 07

After 72h, check both whitepages.com and 411.com; if a Premium listing persists, email support (see escalation).

Data brokers re-list. Check again in 30–60 days.

Re-listing risk for this site: Moderate-high — listings regenerate from telecom and public-record feeds; new listings can appear weeks/months later under old addresses. Premium profile can persist after Standard suppression — check both.
