How to remove yourself from doctor.webmd.com
Physician/dentist directory profiles (3M+ providers) with specialty, location, insurance accepted, and patient ratings/reviews, generally auto-populated from public licensing/NPI data.
Owner / network: WebMD (part of Internet Brands)
Removing yourself, step by step
- 01
Search for the provider's profile on doctor.webmd.com.
- 02
Use "List Your Practice" (https://doctor.webmd.com/claim/learnmore) to claim the profile, which allows editing/limiting visible details even if full deletion isn't offered.
- 03
If full removal is desired, contact WebMD customer service directly, since no self-service delete option was found on the pages checked.
Data brokers re-list. Check again in 30–60 days.
Re-listing risk for this site: High — directory re-syncs from NPI/licensing databases, so even a "removed" listing tends to reappear
