Removing yourself, step by step

0 of 5 done
  1. Open https://dashboard.propertyrec.com/opt-out (also "Remove My Info" in the site footer).
  2. Choose a lookup: by name and state, by phone number, or by street address, and select the listing(s) that are yours to suppress.
  3. Repeat for each phone number and each address (current and past) linked to you, since each lookup suppresses only what it finds.
  4. For deletion of data beyond the search listing, use "Access, Correction & Deletion Requests" on the Your Privacy Choices panel, or email support@propertyrec.com, and supply the identity details the policy lists.
  5. Check the listing after 48 hours; if it remains, email support@propertyrec.com with the listing details.

Tap a step to tick it off. Progress is saved in this browser only.

How they confirm it

opt-out requests "do not require verification" (privacy policy); for access, correction and deletion it asks a Report Subject at minimum for name, city or state of residence, mailing address and/or phone number

If they ignore you

the privacy policy offers an appeal (answered within 60 days, 45 for Colorado and Minnesota) and says a denied appeal will come with a way to contact your state attorney general; California residents: CA Attorney General / CPPA under the CCPA; otherwise the Nevada Attorney General (Nevada governing law) or your state attorney general

Data brokers re-list. Check again in about 60 days.

Re-listing risk for this site: Medium — the policy says removal "extends only to our Properties" and does not remove data from the public or private sources it came from, and records are generated from external sources when a report is run
