Removing yourself, step by step

  1. 01

    Go to https://hunter.io/claim.

  2. 02

    Enter your professional email address.

  3. 03

    Click the ownership-verification link in the email Hunter sends to that address.

  4. 04

    Review the data and sources shown on the claim page.

  5. 05

    Click "Delete my information".

  6. 06

    Repeat per email address; for all addresses at a domain you control, email privacy@hunter.io with authorization proof.

Data brokers re-list. Check again in 30–60 days.

Re-listing risk for this site: Low for the claimed address (permanent suppression list); the person can still resurface under other/new email addresses, and copies already exported by Hunter users before the claim are not recalled (Hunter will notify affected users on request via privacy@hunter.io)
