How to remove yourself from homes.com

Sitehomes.com
Categoryother (real-estate portal; exposes owner/property data)
DifficultyHard (portal availability issues; property records often re-sourced from MLS/county data and may be refused as "publicly available")
Time to processnot published (statutory 45 days CCPA)

Property records: addresses, sale/price history, photos, and in places owner-name/mortgage-linked details; also account/lead data. DeleteMe/Optery treat it as custom-removal-only.

Owner / network: CoStar Group (also Apartments.com, LoopNet, BizBuySell, Matterport, OnTheMarket)

Removing yourself, step by step

  1. 01

Go to https://privacy.costar.com/, choose Homes.com as the brand.

  2. 02

Select delete / do-not-sell request; fill name, email, address, phone matching your records; submit (one request type per submission).

  3. 03

For sold-home photos: also ask the listing agent to remove them at the MLS source.

  4. 04

    Use https://www.homes.com/about/communication-opt-out/ to stop emails/calls.

  5. 05

If the portal is down, retry later; there is no published direct privacy email for Homes.com .

Data brokers re-list. Check again in 30–60 days.

Re-listing risk for this site: High — listing/county data re-syncs; photo/record removal requests may need agent/MLS-side action too.
