precise mobile location histories keyed to MAIDs, movement patterns/POI visits; private DB, not public profiles

Owner / network: Gravy Analytics merged with Norway's Unacast (2023); Venntel is the Gravy subsidiary. FTC final order Jan 14, 2025 prohibits selling sensitive location data and mandates deletion programs. Jan 2025: major breach — hackers claimed multi-TB location dataset; reported to Norwegian authorities. Assume historical data may be circulating regardless of opt-out.

Removing yourself, step by step

  1. 01

Submit opt-out & delete at https://www.unacast.com/opt-out (include each device MAID and email).

  2. 02

Also submit at https://gravyanalytics.com/request-your-information for legacy Gravy/Venntel datasets .

  3. 03

Email privacy@unacast.com explicitly naming Gravy Analytics AND Venntel datasets.

  4. 04

Advise user: 2025 breach means past location data may persist with third parties — device-level hygiene (reset/delete ad ID, deny tracking) going forward.

Data brokers re-list. Check again in 30–60 days.

Re-listing risk for this site: Medium — FTC order curtails collection/sale of sensitive location data; but MAID-keyed coverage gaps as with Kochava/Mobilewalla; breached data is unrecoverable
